Besides having a natural sense of story, Emily is one of the most passionate film students I've met. Her Willingness to go the extra mile to make her ideas come alive is an inspiration.

I'm always psyched when I meet people like Emily who are young, talented, hard-working and fun to be around. Emily just plain "gets it," so it's easy to work with her and to recommend her to friends.

Emily has been both a student of mine, and crew on my productions.  In all of my experiences with her, she has been extremely professional, creative, and technically strong .  No matter what role Emily is in, she strives for excellence, is open and eager to grow, and has a fun and easy to work with style, all of which make her extremely valuable on any production.  When it comes to crewing up a project, Emily is at the top of my list.

Emily is an actor's director that's not to say she can't do all the rest of that job, but she knows how to talk to actors. She keeps a calm set, which is extremely important for the actor's process. She loves input from actors about their characters and is open to change. Her collaborative style helps everyone feel that they have a stake in the outcome and her willingness to listen gives everyone the idea they are important to her project. In the last two years I have done over 50 films and she is hands down one of the best directors I have worked with.  I hope to be able to work with her in the future.
